Who Are Room Parents?
Room parents play an essential role in fostering a supportive classroom environment. They serve as a bridge between the teacher and parents, ensuring effective communication and smooth classroom operations. If you're enthusiastic about contributing to your child's educational experience, becoming a room parent could be a perfect fit!
Pre-requisites for Becoming a Room Parent:

Key Responsibilities:

Communication: Serve as the primary communication link between the PTO and parents of the class.

Gifts: Manage and collect funds for teacher and staff gifts, including during the winter holiday season, Teacher Appreciation Week, and birthdays.

Event Coordination: Collaborate with teacher to organize class parties and support field trips. Handle the logistics of classroom parties. This includes arranging for food, procuring party supplies, and planning engaging activities for the students.

Financial Record Keeping: Diligently track class funds and expenditures using a spreadsheet, and ensure that all receipts are submitted appropriately.

Photography: Capture memorable moments from class parties and events. These photos should then be shared with the yearbook coordinator, either via email or by uploading them to a specified folder.
