Join the Valley Ranch Elementary PTO Team as a Library Volunteer!

Do you have a passion for books and reading? Are you eager to foster a love for literature in our young learners? Valley Ranch Elementary PTO is excited to offer parents an enriching opportunity to volunteer in our school library.

What Does a Library Volunteer Do?

  • Book Shelving: Our library is a hub of activity! As a library volunteer, your primary role will be shelving returned books once a week. This ensures that our collection remains organized and easily accessible to our young readers.

  • Scholastic Book Fair: Twice a year, we host the Scholastic Book Fair, a much-anticipated event for our students. As a library volunteer, you'll have the rewarding experience of supporting this event, from helping children select books to managing the checkout process.

Why Volunteer?

  • Enrich the School Community: Your involvement greatly aids the smooth running of our library, ensuring students always have a vast range of books at their fingertips.

  • Instill a Love for Reading: By assisting with the Scholastic Book Fair, you'll be playing a part in igniting students' enthusiasm for books and reading.

  • Connect and Collaborate: Volunteering offers a wonderful way to engage with the school community, connect with staff, and collaborate with other parent volunteers.
